Alex Palou looking to reduce the gap to the leader at Spa-Francorchamps

After the summer break in August, Alex Palou and Campos Racing resume their participation in the Euroformula Open to approach the last third of the championship, where the driver born in Barcelona is a title contender. Tereschenko and Walkinshaw will also present in Belgium.

Campos Racing resumes its program in the Euroformula Open as the series celebrate its sixth meeting at Spa-Francorchamps, next weekend. Spa-Francorchamps was already visited by Campos Racing only two weeks ago, then due to GP2, and the Belgian venue may become very important for Alex Palou and his chances to win the championship later this season. Palou, second in the drivers´ standings, has clinched two wins throughout the season and the driver of Campos Racing almost each and every race finishes on the podium. Twenty points behind Sandy Stuvik after a double second place finish at Silverstone, the first spade might start going in the ground for Palou in Belgium, always with the title in mind.

The other Campos Racing racers in the Euroformula Open, Konstantin Tereschenko and Sean Walkinshaw, will drive two Dallaras F312 as well. Tereschenko, improving his performance little by little, lying sixth overall, secured his maiden podium finish at Hungaroring. Walkinshaw, whose best result is a fifth place, is 10th.

Race one will take place at 3PM on Saturday and Race two at noon on Sunday.
