Diego Menchaca joins Campos Racing for the Euroformula Open

The Mexican driver, with an impressive track record in the British Isles, will team up with Konstantin Tereschenko and Henrique Baptista, who were recently confirmed as well. Menchaca is one of the most promising rising stars in in the Aztec country.

Campos Racing has confirmed another driver for its 2015 season in the Euroformula Open. Mexico´s Diego Menchaca, aged 20 and born in Mexico City, will make his debut in the Formula 3 series driving for Campos Racing. After competing in go-karts, Menchaca arrived in Great Britain to take part in the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Series, already leaving a good impression on his debut. Then, in 2013, he debuted in the British F.4 series spending two years in this feeder series and achieving wins and podiums.

“It is such a great new to sign Diego for our team in Euroformula Open. He is a very young driver coming from a country playing even a more important role each year in motorsport. I think he is a driver being able to bring us brilliant results. Konstantin, Henrique and Diego are three excellent drivers to approach this season”, Adrián Campos comments.
