Moto3 Uk Grand Prix

After finishing in the top ten at the last six races, Brad Binder in Silverstone couldn’t get better than fifteenth. Jules Danilo, who started from thirtieth on grid, fought to a twenty-fifth final position, after having had a chance to look for a position inside the top twenty.
Brad Binder (38’17”656 – 15th ) “We had a problem, and in the back straight I could not defend my position. I could pass riders elsewhere, but losing in that straight. We could not do anything better, today”.

Jules Danilo (38’44”052 – 25th ) “After a difficult qualifying I had some doubt about what could be our real chances. They were good, I can say now, but had a problem. Plus at a point, while fighting for seventeenth, I had quite a moment… we did a great progress, to be honest, in the race, in comparison with qualifying, and it’s a pity that it will not show on the paper. Hopefully I can catch points in Misano”.
Josè Manuel Ruiz Gomez (Technical Director) “A difficult race. The group was really a big one, especially for the first three-quarter of the laps, and the fight was very tough. Jules starting from a position in the back of the grid improved quite a lot his lap time and his pace has been well above his rhythm during the first two days of the weekend. His race has been positive, anyway: he’s always able to perform better in race than in qualifying”.
